I trust them completely for my dental needs.
I had Dr Monroe for a root canal & cap. He did an awesome job, & was very personable. The assistant was great, too. Unfortunately, I can't recall her name. The whole process went very smooth, & the cap fits perfectly.
The quality and expertise of the service at Village Green is exceptional. Professional, friendly staff. Up to date technology. If one can say it is a pleasant experience to go to the dentist this is the place. Issues that I was having when I first went there have been completely addressed over several visits. Highly recommended!
Chronic bad breath can happen for a lot of reasons, and the best way to beat it is to pinpoint the exact cause. Everything from eating certain foods to tooth decay can impact the way your breath smells. Good oral hygiene can help control some of your breath issues.
This video explains the causes of bad breath and what you can do to overcome them. Most cases of bad breath can be traced to bacteria in the mouth. Cavities and other oral infections cause bad breath, as do eating onions and garlic. Brushing twice a day and flossing at least once will control bacteria levels, keeping your breath smelling fresh.
Regular dental check-ups will help you discover the causes of your bad breath and root them out for good. Make an appointment at Village Green Dental Center to find out how to maintain good oral health. Call (630) 851-0710 if you have any questions.
X-rays have long played an important role in dental treatment. X-rays allow dentists to see the internal structure of the teeth, gums, and jaw so they can diagnose problems and plan appropriate treatments. Traditional dental X-rays use film and require a long time for the images to develop before diagnosis and treatment. New technology has made this process easier for dentists and patients alike. 3D Cone Beam imaging produces precise, detailed images that can be viewed immediately. Here are some of the benefits of this new kind of X-ray technology:
Faster Results
Time has always been a big drawback of traditional X-rays. Since the film had to be developed, dental visits that involved these X-rays were typically longer. This practice was inconvenient for patients and restricted the number of appointments a dentist could have in a day. Film X-rays were also uncomfortable for patients, and often increased dental anxiety. With 3D Cone Beam X-rays, the images can be viewed as soon as the pictures are taken. This sophisticated imaging allows patients to be more comfortable, treatment to begin sooner, and reduces the length of appointments.
Sharper Images
3D Cone Beam X-rays produce images that are sharper than traditional X-rays. With better images, dentists are able to catch problems earlier so treatment can be less invasive. Better images also mean that it is easier for dentists to make the correct diagnosis and settle on an effective treatment plan.
Better Implant Results
3D Cone Beam Imaging is particularly helpful with dental implants. Traditional X-rays don’t offer the detailed images of the patient’s jaw and facial structure required for the best implant results. With 3D Cone Beam, dentists can easily identify areas of jaw weaknesses so that the implants can be placed in the best position possible.
3D Cone Beam X-rays are just one of the cutting-edge tools we use at Village Green Dental Center. Our skilled dental staff and sophisticated equipment can identify and treat any oral health issues before they cause major problems. Make an appointment today by calling ((630) 851-0710.
